Purpose

The UAE foreign exchange market is an emerging international forex trading market that has developed over the past two decades. Leveraging Dubai's advantageous position as the financial hub of the Middle East, it has attracted a large number of forex brokers from around the world and is one of the core nodes connecting foreign exchange flows across Europe, Asia, and Africa. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in the region, the survey team conducted an on-site visit to the UAE.

Process

This time, the on-site inspection team planned to visit the forex broker WEALTH-FX in the UAE. According to public information, its office address is 602, Opal tower, Business Bay Dubai, UAE 500001.

A professional and experienced site inspection team, driven by the mission of rigorously safeguarding investors, traveled to the United Arab Emirates following a well-organized plan. They conducted an on-site verification of the broker WEALTH-FX, which claims to be located at 602, Opal tower, Business Bay Dubai, UAE 500001.

The site inspection team successfully arrived at Opal tower. The location is in the core business district of downtown Dubai, surrounded by a high-end business cluster with a strong commercial atmosphere. The entire building is a luxury office tower in the heart of Dubai. We completed a panoramic photo shoot of the building from the outside. Throughout the process, no company signage or related promotional information bearing the name WEALTH-FX was found.

The site inspection team entered the first-floor lobby of the building and stated their purpose to the security guards. After registering their information and communicating, they successfully obtained permission to enter the lobby. In the directory display area of the first-floor lobby, we did not find any company directory listing corresponding to WEALTH-FX. The tenant listed for Room 602 on the directory is a completely unrelated company. Throughout the process, no WEALTH-FX logo was found, and there were no traces of this broker's signage either inside or outside the building.

Subsequently, due to floor access restrictions, we were unable to reach the target floor, the 6th floor, and therefore could not confirm the actual situation of Room 602. No obvious signage or security measures belonging to WEALTH-FX were found in this office area. Due to access restrictions, the team was unable to enter the corresponding office area and could not photograph the broker's reception desk or the reception logo. This venue is also not classified as a shared office space.

The corresponding office area does not allow outsiders to enter freely at all, making it impossible to observe the so-called internal environment of WEALTH-FX. The overall situation is completely inconsistent with the broker's claimed positioning of establishing a business development site at this location.

Therefore, after the site inspection, it is confirmed that the broker WEALTH-FX does not exist at the above address.

Conclusion

The field inspection team went to the UAE as planned to visit forex broker WEALTH-FX in person. At its publicly displayed business address, they could not see the company name or other information of the broker, indicating that the broker does not have a real business premises. Investors are advised to make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
