FBS Review: Broker Regulation Warnings and Withdrawal Complaints Traders Cannot Ignore
Abstract:FBS carries active regulatory records in Australia and Cyprus, but our investigation also found investor-alert warnings from Malaysia and Japan, plus repeated complaints of withdrawals blocked, profits deducted, and accounts restricted. For retail Forex traders, the danger is not one isolated grievance — it is a pattern of funds becoming hard to recover after profits appear.

A Kenyan trader says he deposited $700, grew the account to $2,500, then watched $1,133.56 appear as a deduction tied to withdrawal transactions he says were edited into his MT5 history. When he challenged support, he says an agent denied the transaction existed, while FBS later described it as a “fixed balance problem.”
That is the kind of review no retail trader wants to write. It is not just about a losing trade. It is about trust breaking at the exact moment money should be returned.
Our investigation reveals a far bigger concern: FBS presents itself with regulated entities and a broad global footprint, yet user complaints repeatedly describe blocked withdrawals, profit removals, severe slippage, forced take-profit changes, and account access restrictions. The brokers WikiFX score is 1.67, and the file notes 173 complaints received in the last three months. That is a warning signal traders should not brush aside.
FBS Regulation Reality Audit: The Broker Has Licenses, But Also Danger Notices
FBS is listed with regulatory records in Australia and Cyprus. But the same investigation found official warning-style disclosures from Malaysia and Japan connected to FBS-related names, websites, or services.
That split matters. A broker can point to regulated entities, while traders in other regions may still face different protections, different operating entities, or unauthorized solicitation concerns. Before funding any Forex account, traders must know exactly which legal entity holds their account and which regulator covers them.
| Regulator | License Type | REAL STATUS |
|---|---|---|
| Australia ASIC | Regulated financial license, Intelligent Financial Markets Pty Ltd, No. 426359 | Regulated |
| Cyprus CySEC | Regulated financial license, Tradestone Ltd, No. 331/17 | Regulated |
| Malaysia Securities Commission | Investor Alert List / unauthorized securities and derivatives activity warning | Unauthorized |
| Japan Financial Services Agency | Warning on unregistered financial instruments business operator, FBS Markets Inc. | Unauthorized |
The Malaysia Securities Commission disclosure cites unauthorized capital market activity involving securities and derivatives and lists multiple FBS-related websites. The Japan FSA disclosure identifies “FBS Markets Inc.” in connection with over-the-counter derivatives solicitation via the internet and says the operator was unregistered.
This is the regulatory contradiction traders must face. There are regulated records. There are also danger notices. Both are part of the same risk picture.
Current-Year Visual Evidence: Complaints Are Still Coming In
The 2026 complaints are not old noise. They include withdrawal failures, deductions, and slippage claims.
A trader in the Philippines reported repeated withdrawal failure involving a wallet, card, 3,000 pesos, and 48 USD.
An Indonesian trader alleged stop-loss slippage, saying a $200 stop loss turned into a $250–$350 gap.
There is also a positive 2026 review from Malaysia saying deposits and withdrawals worked well.
That mixed picture is important. Not every user reports harm. But the volume and severity of negative complaints demand caution.
FBS Broker Review: The Withdrawal Pattern Is Hard to Ignore
The most repeated complaint is simple: traders say they cannot withdraw.
Across the case file, users from the Philippines, Indonesia, India, South Africa, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, China, Hong Kong, Brazil, Thailand, and other regions reported delayed, rejected, or missing withdrawals. Some said requests showed as successful inside the platform but never reached the receiving account. Others said support gave vague answers, tracking numbers, or repeated instructions to wait.
Several traders say the problem appeared after they became profitable. One user in India said that after earning more than $2,000 USD, withdrawal requests were always rejected despite using the same method as the deposit.

Another said a $2,618 balance was wiped after withdrawal problems, followed by account deactivation and deleted trading and transaction history.

A UK-based complaint alleged $44,827 in profit was removed through a “balance fixed” operation. Another Indian complaint claimed $1,099.65 in profit was removed after AML document requests.

A 2026 Kenyan complaint also used the phrase “fixed balance problem” after a $1,133.56 deduction.
These are not technical inconveniences. If accurate, they describe a severe funds-withheld risk.
FBS Login and Account Access Issues Exposed
Login risk is not only about forgetting a password. In this case file, traders describe access restrictions after disputes, verification checks, or profitable activity.
One Indian user said FBS disabled the account after successful withdrawals, first citing verification and then adding other accusations.

Another said the account was blocked under an AML check after a $248 deposit and profit growth, even after documents were submitted. A Portuguese user said the account was frozen without notice after five years as a client, again with AML cited.
A trader also alleged that the account was deactivated and the trading and transaction history deleted after withdrawal problems. For a retail trader, that is critical. If account access disappears, evidence can become harder to preserve, disputes become harder to prove, and funds become harder to trace.
Before making any large deposit, traders should download account statements, save platform history, and keep all chat and email records outside the brokers system.
Forex Execution Complaints: Slippage, Price Feeds, and Forced TP
The second major risk cluster is execution.
Complaints describe severe slippage, stop losses triggered without the market reaching the stop, candle prices allegedly differing from external references, and forced take-profit settings. One German trader said three EUR/USD pending orders were activated far away from the live market price, creating an alleged $30,000 difference compared with other brokers.

A Thai complaint alleged the broker set take profit without consent, resulting in a stated $17,600 loss.

Other traders reported XAU/USD, XAG/USD, US100, USD/TRY, and stock-related price discrepancies. Several said stop-loss orders slipped far beyond the expected loss. One Indonesian user said a stop loss expected around $150 became a $502.40 loss.
FBS trade-environment testing shows an overall “Good” grade, with strong cost and offline metrics, but the same data also records maximum negative slippage of 29.0 and labels some speed, slippage, and swap elements as poor. That does not prove every complaint. But it does show why traders should not rely on headline platform ratings alone.
Key Red Flags
- * WikiFX score is 1.67, despite high influence and broad visibility.
- * 173 complaints were noted in the last three months.
- * Malaysia and Japan disclosures identify FBS-related unauthorized activity concerns.
- * Users repeatedly allege withdrawal rejection, profit deduction, account restriction, slippage, and manual order interference.
Is FBS Safe for Retail Forex Traders?
FBS has regulated records in Australia and Cyprus. It offers MT4, MT5, mobile apps, Standard and Ultra accounts, and leverage listed up to 1:30. Its trading environment test is graded A, and some users praise fast payouts or stable daily trading.
But a safe-broker review cannot stop at platform features. The core question is whether traders can withdraw funds without obstruction and whether profitable trades are treated fairly. The complaint record raises serious doubt.
The most protective conclusion is this: do not treat FBS as low-risk simply because some licenses exist. Verify the exact entity, read the withdrawal rules, test with a small amount first, and keep evidence from day one.
If you already have funds inside, avoid emotional decisions. Save your history, screenshots, emails, transaction IDs, and withdrawal records. Then escalate through the named entitys official complaint channel and the relevant regulator where your account is legally held.
For everyday traders, the warning is clear. This broker review shows a pattern that deserves extreme caution before depositing more money into any FBS Forex account.
